Integrated in the region of El Maresme, it is located 58 kilometres from Barcelona. The municipality is crossed by the Maresme Highway (C-32) and by the old N-II road between km 672 and 673, as well as by local roads that connect with Pineda and Malgrat de Mar.
The relief of the municipality is characterized by the coastal strip of the Maresme, located between Malgrat de Mar and Pineda and by the first elevations of the Montnegre Massif, which include the Serrat de la Crestada (250 meters) and the Serra de Miralles (340 meters). The most outstanding mountains are the Turó de Can Jordà (206 meters), the Turó de la Guardia (241 meters) and the Turó Gros de Miralles (343 meters). The Santa Susanna stream crosses the village coming from the nearby mountains. The village rises 9 meters above sea level.
